Allure Day Spa & Hair Design Lights Up Midtown East

Allure Day Spa & Hair Design Lights Up Midtown East

I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and in that whole process one thing can actually lead to another.  In this sense, it has do with an amazing spa location that I recently discovered last week.  I was asked to write an article on this app called LookBooker, which is essentially the OpenTable for Salons throughout NYC.  After writing the article, I glanced through what was available as I was looking for some treatments and a new spa to call my own.  One of the first ones that showed up was Allure Day Spa & Design, located in the heart of Midtown East and a mere two block walk from the 53rd/Lexington Avenue stop (convenient!).  Since discovering them, I have been back twice and really enjoy the experiences that Allure provides.

Allure Day Spa & Hair Design has had some pretty notable exposure in the media world, not just local to New York City.  They have been featured in major publications from Allure to Cosmopolitan Magazine, and after experiencing them twice i can completely see why.  There is a very calming sensation you feel once you walk down the two flights of steps into the salon, and the location itself is large in size and is impeccably clean, which is a necessary thing for any type of location, especially this one.

Something that also drew me to their location when I booked was that they have a suite of services for men, whereas a good portion of salons that i saw didn’t necessarily cater to the opposite sex.  It is good to have this kind of duality, and Allure Day Spa exceeds in that where it matters.  For men, they have manicures/pedicures, hair removal, cuts & style, facials, massages, body treatments and even a VIP House Call (available for both sexes) where they can come to you.  How amazing is that?  For both sessions while I was there, I had an amazing and needed facials (Blackheads galore!) and a fantastic Swedish Massage that left my face feeling fresh and new and my whole body feeling re-energized.

Allure Day Spa also offers unique treatments that go beyond what the normal Spa & Salon offer.  One of them is Ear Candling, which is described as “a safe, simple, natural way to remove excess wax and debris from inside the ears.”  They also have wonderful salon services including Cut & Color, Hair Repair, Extensions, Straightening and more.  If you are also the bride to be and need a great place to relax with your bridesmaids, they have you covered.  They also have an amazing line of products that are geared towards each individual treatment you receive. Essentially, Allure Day Spa is your one stop shop for all things spa and salon related, and I would recommend booking an appointment as soon as possible as we are all in need of a little TLC every once in a while.
